Lighter, Then Faster

EXAR UltraDark carbon fiber wheelset applies HI-MOD carbon fiber. The excellent materials allow great reduction on weight while retaining outstanding stiffness. By reducing drive weight, you will get a faster response while climbing or accelerating.*The wheelset weight in the table does not include the weight of quick-release skewer and rim tape; A tolerance of ±3% applies to the weight, and the actual wheelset weight should prevail. 

Lower Front And Higher Rear Wheels

The wheelset combines lower front wheel and higher rear wheel, so as to support riders with better stability. It improves pedaling efficiency by providing excellent aerodynamic performance and crosswind resistance. While the rear wheel maintain high inertia, the front wheel still has excellent controllability. When turning around or in emergency, you can control the bike easily. 

Flat Engagement Ratchet, Ensure Stable Performance

Adopt flat ratchet, which has a more stable performance when cruising at all speed. It’s highly free that you could replace the original ratchet with other DT ratchet of different tooth amount. It will response faster when replacing the ratchet with more teeth. 

Full Carbon Fiber Spokes,Contribute Ultra-Stiffness

EXAR UltraDark carbon fiber wheelset features VONOA’s carbon fiber spokes. Each spoke weighs only 2.8g, 30% lighter than top-level steel spokes.

Carbon fiber spokes have higher tensile strength and can withstand 30% more tensile force. Lower strength loss of transmission brings higher driving efficiency.

30mm Wide Fat Rim, Aerodynamic And Comfortable

The wheelset adopts 30mm external rim width and 23mm internal rim width, which designs for disc brake only.

After installing the 28-32c tire, the contact surface between tire and rim is flat. As a result, It creates a flatter aerodynamic surface and enhances cycling comfort.

It ensures optimal aerodynamic performance in complex wind conditions, and you can enjoy cycling more comfortably.

Elaborate Hub Design

Improve flange diameter: The flange diameter has been calculated scientifically in terms of the stiffness of carbon fiber spokes. We reduce the amount of stress concentration point where spoke contacts with hub, thus improving driving stiffness and extending endurance.

Smooth edging on bearing surface: The contact surface of bearing and body is processed with smooth edges to reduce bearing losses, creating precise synergy.

2:1 balanced spoke pattern: The wheelset applies 2:1 balanced lacing pattern, which distributes tension perfectly. The spoke tension of rear-wheel drive side is 130kgf±10%, and non drive side is 110kgf±10%. The balance performance is improved by 100% compared with 1:1 lacing pattern.

The dynamic balance is exclusively designed for TPU inner tube, you will enjoy a stable cycling at high speed. & The wheelset is compatible with tubeless tire and clincher tire. It comes tubeless rim tape and rim plug. While installing clincher tire, you could use rim plugs to reduce weight.
